The Measurement Problem in Science

Science has become so specialized, like you need years of training to be sufficiently knowledgeable in any one area. Thomas Kuhn warned that science would start fracturing into smaller and smaller subdisciplines. I think quantum mechanics is a good example of a field where there are all these tendrils going out into other fields. And I'm hoping it will have really surprising, interesting consequences.
