The Positive Thing of Democracy
I see a renaissance democracy of the city states where you really had the kind of autonomy by a population who perceives them to be autonomous because they set their rules for themselves and that's what's conflated with democracy. Free private cities are democratic very much more democratic because it's all about contractual consent of people living together in a naively peaceful fashion. I think part of the bit-conceded El Meeam is that longing to live in an arrangement which is much more in alignment with your values, he says.
