Tobler Wakes Up

Tobler hasn't heard from earth, or any other human being for almost 200 years. He can only take it on faith they're not back in the stone age. But even if they are, maybe they'll crawl into space again eventually. Maybe they'll get back to this point in a thousand years time of wanting to reap the vast mineral wealth of the solar system's pork belly. And he'll probably still be out here, red lights allowing, making everything ready for them.
