Spinoza's Theological Political Treatise

Spinoza is one of the most famous critiques of the bible in the modern era. His theological political treatise, noant's a book that has a negative aim and a positive aim. He articulates an articulation of what he calls superstition - based on a natural product arising from fear and ignorance. From there we get a description of how desire for these worldly goods can lead ultimately to exploitation by those who are using them as bargaining chips. And so it also presents a challenge to rationalism itself.
