Pies today have any type of investment doesn't have to be even like stocks or bonds broadly speaking is driven by what you expect to get in the future. When it comes to let's say ESG investing if we believe that there is like an aggregate shift to certain types of companies because of changing kind of preferences values concerns but the price of those companies are likely to grow up and vice versa. We as investors should never forget that capital markets are extremely noisy volatile and so are premiums including the equity premium for that.
