The Pain Placebo Effect
Pain is the classic placebo genic experimental interface. People understand what analgesics should do that they are pretty good actually at rating different types of pain. You've got thermal pain and you've got like pressure pain as an old device called a fordune barber strain gauge. And all of these things have very well understand, very well understand physiological afferents. Um, it means that you've got some really good models for looking at stuff like chiropractic and acupuncture and a bunch of herbs that really should be in a pot broiling with a chicken.
