The Benefits of Post-Travel Polling in Longer Races
15 participants walked uphill with poles and without poles at an effort that's equivalent to about a six hour race. There were no differences between using or not using pause at this intensity. One reason probably was because they started and they did this trial, not in fatigue conditions. If we tried the same measurements, maybe after six hours of three running and after maybe 2000 meters of elevation gain and loss, maybe we we had some different results.
