The idea that a religious system, to belief systems in generaln and very probably a lot of what we're living out in our day to day life is the. outgrowth of something that, though we aren't fully conscious of, that we can't yet articulate,. but is none the less a fundamental nature of our experience. It's like the the iconogra, iconic iconography of christianity is an attempt to express something that we're not yet smart enough to understand. The artists and the mystics are at the vanguard of the development of that understanding. And they come up with ideas that are clearer than mere feelings, but are not yet clear. So you imagine that
