How to Pace a Book

The first part of the book takes place over the course of about 20 years. I actually only narrated the first two thirds and finished reading it because I just wanted to know what happened. There are sections where we are in the moment and living it beat by beat by beat, and then there are sections that we just skip over through exposition. And his choices on when to do that are really, he's a really good writer just in case he didn't know that.
