The History of the Magadha
The first great kingdom of India, the Magadha, would emerge from the 16th as the most powerful of all between the late 5th and early 4th century BC. With their great armies numbering over 200,000 according to Greek authors, they managed to expand the kingdom's borders east and southwards. And with this very brief summation of Indian history, we can ultimately conclude a few points. The subcontinent of India was not uniform.
