Richard Sharp, Blythe and Johnson are said to have had dinner together at checkers before the loan guarantee was finalized. They all deny that the Prime Minister's finances were ever discussed at that meeting. The other applicants for the job of chair of the BBC are oblivious to all of this? Like everybody else? So imagine how much it must stink to them that they now find out that all of this was going on when they were hoping that there was a proper and fair process unfolding.
