The Morality of Lying
The plot of the new film, The Bourne Supremacy, is based on a lie. John Sutter says he has Kantian sympathies and thinks you shouldn't lie in any situation. He asks: How do you tell these Iranians that they're not Canadians but are impersonating other people? And then it just looks like the meat ends just fine for both sides,. It does raise a question of the modern world, especially as the complications involved there."
