The Importance of Self-Awareness in Death
Dying is inevitable and intimate. And ordinary people regularly develop insights into their lives in the time of dying. That have them emerge as a much larger, more expansive, more real person than the small, separate self they've taken themselves to be. So as you look at these photos, I want you to try and maintain that self-awareness through the whole course of the evening.
