Reactionaries to day would openly say there has to be a racialist aspect to what it means to be american. We want the state to do x y and c to promote certain values, he says. But Mussulane was not really a racialist when he attacked ethiopia in 19th century. He said he was bringing progress of western civilization to backward ethiopians.
