On a day when the Supreme Court of the United States has unthinkably decided to end constitutional protections for abortion, I'm putting out this timely conversation with three people. People that can help those on the left make sense of why disinferiating convergence of events and other oppressive forces is happening. This story is not just about the hyper-conservative right side of the court, fortified as the Associated Press put it by three appointees from former President Donald Trump. Striking down Roe v. Wade is part of a broader attack by conservatives on racialized and marginalized people as well. It is happening within a legal system that is not so unlike Canada's either.
