The Qualities of Heroes

Author: Heroes inspire us to be the better angels of our better selves. They are courageous, they don't shrink from challenge and they rise to the occasion when good deeds are needed. Another aspect I think that's important for heroes is generosity, kind, compassionate, generous. And in some cases they give their lives as in Martin Luther King and Gandhi for what they were doing. It could be how we feel about a national figure and a kind of emotional or affectional quality that we feel toward them.
