Uganda's Anti-LGBTQ Bill Is a Big Deal, but It's a Bad Idea.
Uganda's parliament passed a bill that further criminalizes same-sex relationships and even makes it illegal to simply identify as LGBTQ. Anyone convicted of so-called aggravated homosexuality, vaguely defined as gay sex with someone underage or HIV positive, would receive the death penalty. Moderna CEO said the company won't back down from its plan to quadruple the price of its life-saving COVID vaccine.
