A Dream of Wholeness in Parts

I want to introduce another voice again after Rebecca Solnit and after the anthropologists, the non-binary performance artist and filmmaker Sinh Waikin. They use drag science fiction and storytelling to look at systems of looking and desire and to vision new narratives. A Dream of Wholeness in Parts is influenced by Taoist philosophy and Peking in Cantonese opera with Sinh queering those traditions. And they say, the narrative of a dream of wholeness in parts is nonlinear. I wanted to create a carrier bag narrative, an immersive space where many things are held together for consideration without need to be questioned and resolved.
