Julius Caesar's College of the Lupicy

A big source of what we know about this festival does come from plutarch, specifically life of caesar 61. The famous scene that you've got where caesar refuses it all takes place during this festival. I didn't realize, before mark antony stark naked during the crown presentation, i didn't realize this was going to be such a comedy episode. It definitely had its place. And i mean, if julius caesar has his own college of the lupicy, then it's clearly got that kind of position in roman festivals. But yes, it says something about the kind of crowd that he knew would be there that he chooses this venue.
