The Jar Jar Binks of the Third Reich

A lot of historians will argue that Mengele was the Jar Jar Binks of the Nazi regime. Not true. In that, he was an embarrassing and kind of sad character who nonetheless had an almost forest gump-like availability around many of the most significant moments in the history of the Third Reich. "I'm like, you know, even if people don't so much enjoy Jar Jar coming in out of an episode with an evil Nazi doctor, it's like, hey, at least he's committed, right? He'd be me exactly," says Moffat.
