Physicists are uncomfortable with the idea that dark matter is something of a mirage created by gravity. They don't want to justl throw out all these great observations that they've been making. But at the same time, they know this other door may be open as well.
Most of the matter in the universe is dark matter, an invisible, untouchable, mysterious substance. Scientists don’t know what exactly dark matter is, despite decades of searching. But recently, they got a new clue in the form of an extremely tiny dancer.
