The Importance of Faith in the Audience

I think it's worth properly tipping the hat to what Nolan does in general. I don't know of another mainstream director who has so much faith in the audience. And can use it as a comedy subplot because he actually gets quite a lot of humor out of that in a not very funny film. If there's a nuclear war with a button, but right now, and we would be responsible for ending the world. That was a great, it's such a tiny little footnote. He is someone who genuinely believes in people's intelligence.
