The Importance of Saving Early

Len Penn: I was taught the benefits of saving from a very, very young age. My cousin CPA cousin Kevin is the one he really opened my eyes to the importance of saving early. He gave me some really simple examples like if somehow you were able to save starting at age one, maybe your parents set aside a thousand dollars a year for six years,. The first six years of your life and then you didn't do anything else the rest of your life with that money. You'd have a million dollars at a 8% return compounded annually by the time you were 65. And it encouraged me actually to take care of my own situation.
