When i first got into punk rock it seemed like a community to me where there was absolutely no division between the people that were booking these shows. And they were some of the nicest people, with some pretty gnarly wrappers,. I understood that toughest guy was actually most generous and kind person. That's what punk rock represented to me when ifirst got into it because i didn't understand it on a musical level.I was going for a much more intellectual and lofty sort of a approach to music.
