The Importance of Having a Union on AI
CWA is in a union with the news guild, who's also part of communications workers of America. I think definitely like getting our workers to, you know, learn about and like find solidarity with these other workers,. And figure out how we all can best control this technology that's actually good for us as humans. So what are some of the opportunities ahead? We had a Google store in Kansas City who felt free to go off from their jobs but then they were fired because they resisted machine learning racism. It's not an AI issue. It's a capitalism issue.
