You've Been Through Quite a Lot, You Know?
i think one thing that saved me, i think about this all the time, is school. It actually breaks my heart to think about children not feeling safe at school. School was a place where i i was totally free of bodily harm and praised for my accomplishments. And then the friendships that i made there, and really just realizing that i could kind of supplement, like, maybe what i wasn't getting from my fam from these other other people. I remember strategizing to get into those relationships, you know, like, i'm going to get this.
