The History of Housing in the United States

Short term round was really become kind of a good analogy for our whole economy. When you turn anything over to a profit incentive first and foremost, it's the long term effect is that people lose out. And there's been this long-term history of excluding people who are not seen as worthwhile residents. The outside wealth always has priority over that existing community. It's non white people. It's native peoples. It's black people. New immigrants who are the ones who suffer most all.
