I've Done Something Wrong With Gila's Val Harmony
Gila's Val harmony just completely doesn't make sense. Even though I try to invent a historical explanation for it, it did. And so yeah, that, to me, that really torpedoed under-specified Val's for me. But like this is one of those places where my idea of make it and then analyze it might have worked better.
