The Influence of Heidegger on Strauss
Heidegger had an enormous influence on certain kinds of religious thinking. Strauss both learned from and rebelled against, very much influenced by Heidegger. But most of all, I would say, is that Heidegger opened up the possibility of seeing Aristotle, just as Aristotle was.
