How to Plan Your Peaks and Valleys

The most obvious and common pitfall that I see as a coach is people are just winging it. All athletic performance is a sine wave, right? It's easier to kind of plan them out a little bit than it is to have them hit you in the face. If you will have peaks and valleys, and if you do not plan them out, they will happen to you. You can't consistently be peaking all one can.
