Do We Use Gendered Pronouns in English?

In English, we mark gender on third person singular pronouns. Some languages don't mark gender at all. Hebrew learning kids take about a year before they can reliably classify themselves as boys or girls in their first language. And so that's an indication of language forcing you to pay attention to some dimension that you may want to think about in a different way.
