The Balance Between Stability and Transformation
There is a balance that needs to be maintained constantly between the forces of stability and the forces of transformation. How much stability you need depends on how rapidly things are changing around you. And so you need to be able to mark the shifting boundary. New technologies don't necessarily mean that we as human beings are better or worse. We have more expense for trouble and opportunity.
