When it was really flowing, i was writing like, two thousand, three thousand words a day. I think i'd much rather be writing kinke thrillers than working as a journalist. But we have to make a living, and there are other rewards to being a journalist. So, but i will certainly, at some poit in future, write more things like kink thrillers.
He grew up in Cairo, spent many years writing on the Middle East, saw the Arab Spring coming, and was bureau chief of the Economist in South Asia.
