The Importance of Listening to Jesus

LZ: I think there's actually pretty core moments in the gospels where this question is answered. When we don't make a decision to follow Jesus in this life, it sets in motion a character solidification that could go on forever. If we're unwilling to follow Jesus today, what would make us believe that we wouldn't- we would follow him at another point? LZ: We run the risk of becoming forever who we are today, if we don't listen. As the words of the author of the Hebrews says, listen today. Now here, don't wait. Turn your heart to the living God.
