A company called do not pay has talked about using AI to fight court cases. They shared that they wanted to do this and then naturally it got a lot of media attention, this idea of a robot lawyer. The state bar threatened their founder, Joshua Browder, and said that if he actually goes forward with the robot lawyer test, that he could potentially go to jail for six months. And in this case, feels like the state bar had a pretty negative reaction threatening jail time.
