How Your Brain Predicts a Snake
Every time you indulge yourself in certain types of media, you're basically training your brain to react in a particular way. Your brain is based on that rustling sound and it predicts that it's a snake. So the first thing it does is it prepares you to run. It raises your heart rite. And as a consequence of that, it preparing you to see a snake. But let's say there is no snak, right? Let's say it's just leaves. There's an error of prediction there.
