Matt Smith tried stand up comedy once, but never thought of doing it again. Tried to be an English teacher and war correspondent before going into radio. Now he does time radio on a Friday night using current affairs. Has done the Fringe show many times - you've always struck this person in open-haired Scotswood out there. You're very good at playing one-woman plays... But I just don't think some politicians would ever have been.
