The Paradox of Psychedelics in Autism

The work coming out of the lab studying psychedelic experiences is extremely important for understanding religiosity and brain topics. What appears to be happening when you do narrow imaging studies of people on a psychedelic particularly the serotoninergic psychedelics those are the ones that have been best studied. The connections within the network are reduced so you get this paradoxical situation where the brain is more hyper connected in some ways but in other ways it's not being processed efficiently.
