Kubernetes - A Brief History

I went to school at Harvey Mudd in California thinking I wanted to be an engineer, like a maybe an electrical or mechanical engineer. But I knew the computer stuff so well that I just got lazy and sort of defaulted into it. Did a couple of internships at Microsoft and then joined Microsoft out of college working on IE. And then, you know, left Microsoft to join Google, worked on everything from Google talk to ads to telephone systems to cloud things. So platform thinking is something that I think permeates my career.
