The 2016 Panic
Shucky was the end of us earnestly enjoying dolls. There are another thing that's been ruined by horror movies: clowns. The 2016 panic came a couple years before the actual panic. A low budget horror director named Adam Krauss had a creepy clown stand in the street holding black balloons trying to make a viral marketing campaign for his short film, which was called Gags. He put up all these stickers that said wrinkles the clown with a phone number. And there was a creepy message or he would actually answer the phone.
