The Importance of Interpolation in Music

I feel like interpolations are probably a bigger thing now, just because music's so oversaturated. And I think it's such an easy, like, we gotta hit. Not to say it's lazy, but I just do think the familiarity aspect is blatant. It's also an age thing. I'm older. And I've chilled out a little bit about it,. When you have a hit, someone calls up and says, that's from this, that was taken from this. There's everyone, people jump out of the woodwork.
