Paul Rosenstein Rodan was a development economist. He studied with Mises, Hayek and made some kind of theoretical shift in his mind. The idea that you do different things to catch up by accelerating the process or by making the big push has been shown time and again to have a lot of merit. And so it's a balance once more.
