The USDA labeling system is intentionally fraudulent. People, consumers don't have the bandwidth to get to know their farmer. You can literally a big multinational meat company buy beef from Uruguay or New Zealand and label it as USA. And we're going to have a lot of examples of a born, raised and solid halfway around the world. The fact is you cannot rely, consumers cannot rely on the USDA link. Don't do that. It's simply not the case.
Today on the podcast, Paul hosts Will Harris to talk about the power of regenerative agriculture. Will tells his story in how he began his farm, White Oak Pastures, and shares his thoughts and lived experience on regenerative versus factory farming, whether regenerative agriculture is scalable, and how raising cattle this way affects the carbon cycle and overall environment.
