Blade Runner: A Philosophical Discussion

The film Blade Runner is exploring the very issues that a philosopher might explore in words. The fundamental motive behind the replicants return to earth is a desire for more life. But they only have four years to live, and an assumption that's driving that sympathy is we've got many more years before we have to face death.
