The Negative Space of Epistemic Justice

I was invited by Doris El Sido the sculpt to do a talk on sexual violence and testimonial injustice. She had in the piece accord at the end of 50 plus years of civil war in Colombia was marked by Salcedo with an incredible installation right in the center of Bogota. So it's a kind of no knowledge unknown knowledge kind of contrast and I really loved her work she does lots of these negative spaces as others may well know and I find them very very beautiful and poetic so that's that's one. The other one is something much more recently and maybe it's two years ago now pandemic has kind of blurred my sense of time but they were both about women
