Getting a PhD in Economics?

Getting a piech sounds fun and romantic, it's not fun. People who love a topic as an under ad often end up unloving it by the time they finished their ph d. And om in the end, six or seven years later, your job prospects aren't even very good. So when every young people ask my advice about getting a piche economics, i almost always try to talk them out of it. I mean, it near broke my spirit. It destroys many people's self confidence and sense of self worth.
