Flight 1862 Crashed Into an Apartment Building in Amsterdam
Flight 18 62 crashed into an 11 floor apartment building in the bigmermer suburb of amsterdam, about eight miles east of the airport. The aircraft was destroyed by the impact and fire, and everyone on board was killed. Police origidly estimated a death total of over 200 people on the ground. But many people believe this number is actually much higher.
