The Death Blight in Pixar's Up

In pixar's up, we see the tempter represented by the character of charles munz. The death blight will represent the external conflict and its main problem. In some way, it could be this problem literally grapples with questions of life and death. But it could also be that the death blight's manifestation is merely a metaphor for the protagonist's inner evolution into a new and broader perspective about the important of this final act of her life.
