Shared Living Communities Are Already Making Huge Headway
According to the latest IPCC report any further delay in concerted global action will miss a brief and rapidly closing window to secure a livable future. Current plans are not ambitious enough to limit warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels which is a threshold scientists believe is necessary to avoid even more catastrophic impacts. Shared living can significantly reduce our environmental footprint including through things like sharing of resources reducing waste and behavior change. Alongside this living in a connected way with others is proving to be one of the most effective ways for managing all the difficult emotions that people are experiencing in relation to the current state of the world.
