Is There a Lightning Cap on the iPad?
There's never been such a thing as a lightning to lightning cable with male lightning on both ends. Now, ironically, now with this new iPad, the result of that design decision is now you do need a cable and an adapter in order to get it to work. The cap was a terrible idea. It really, in my opinion. You can tell which is which if you know that USB C sockets are actually the male part of USB C - there's like a little thing that sticks out in the Senate.
